Spiritual Benefits of Pranic
Healing at Time of Death

Diane
was a 35 year old female with a Malignant Brain tumor. In March
of 2003 the growth of the tumor had caused increased physical
and neurological problems and rapid deterioration of her health.
Her end of life wishes were to die at home with minimal medical
intervention. I am a R.N. with 26 years of experience and have
provided care for numerous individuals through the dying
process. I
administered bedside care for Diane, and had known her family
for 10 years.
On May 6th 2003, Diane’s condition no longer allowed her the
ability to swallow, she was bedridden, minimally responsive to
verbal stimuli, and had not had any food or fluids in 3 days.
She could occasionally move an eyebrow or faintly squeeze her
hand in response to Yes or No questions. Family, church members
and friends were invited to come and say goodbye to Diane. At
this point, I witnessed no verbal communication and there was a vacant look on
her face and in her eyes.
Jim Sorden came to the house to do Pranic Healing with Diane. It
is interesting to note that, prior to the healing, the "Physical
Permanent Seed" was much brighter and I had noticed a great
resistance to passing away within Diane. While she was receiving
the healing, I scanned the Physical Seed and felt the energy
there completely withdraw. It felt as though she was letting go
of
all ofher attachments and healing the pains she had experienced
in life. The resistance completely lifted and in its place was
tremendous Peace.
I then saw her Soul going higher and higher in consciousness and
being carried or guided still higher into the Presence of God.
She was full of Joy. Full of indescribable Light.
Diane awoke and stared intensely and directly at Jim at least 4
times during the healing. Considering her condition for the past
several days, this was a dramatic change in her behavior and
degree of awareness of her surroundings. The Spiritual energy in
the room grew in intensity throughout the healing. Upon
completion, I can only describe Diane’s aura and chakras as
perfectly clean. In all of my clairvoyant observations, I have
never seen anything close to this
before. There was a feeling that at any moment Diane could or
would leave her body. There was a sense of complete Freedom,
Expansiveness, Oneness, Surrender and Bliss. The room seemed to
be filling with more and more of God’s Presence and Divine Love
as the healing progressed, and I am humbled and extremely
grateful to
be able to have witnessed this healing. The presence of Divine
Love and Divine Mercy was beyond description.
After the healing, Jim went downstairs and Diane’s mother had a
moment alone with her daughter. Diane opened her eyes, reached
her arm up off the bed and stroked her mother’s face. She said
out loud to her mother, “I Love You.” This was truly miraculous!
Friends and family members coming into the room following the
healing described Diane’s body as translucent, serene and
peaceful. They also reported that they felt and saw the presence
of Diane’s spirit outside and above her body. One person
verbalized feeling the Presence of God in the room.
Diane became increasingly alert. She was able to communicate
verbally for the next 3 days, expressing gestures of love with
family and close friends. She also demonstrated long-term and
short-term memory recall which had not been present in weeks.
For me the most dramatic and profound observation of Diane
following this healing with Jim, was that every word, action,
gesture or communication with Diane came from a deep place of
Pure Love. It seemed as if with her pain having been lifted, she
was able to give and receive love effortlessly. There was
tremendous family healing that I observed from long standing
resentments and conflict.
Before the healing, Diane had a rash due to a yeast infection
under
her breasts and in her armpits. There was also a draining
abscess in the groin. I had been bathing Diane daily and was
amazed to see on the morning after the healing that there was no
evidence of the rash or infection whatsoever. Her skin was
intact and appeared healed under breasts and in the armpits. The
abscessed area in the
groin was no longer draining or inflamed. The skin was intact
and the
area appeared completely healed.
Diane's physical body was disturbed very little over the next 5
days.
Soft music was played in her room. Master Choa's Om CD was
played intermittently. When I was alone with Diane, I would also
recite the 'Lord's Prayer', the 'I Am the Soul' affirmation and
the mantra 'Om Mani Padme Hum'. Diane seemed particularly
attentive and receptive to the repetition of the 'Lord's
Prayer', looking at me and gently nodding her head during the
pauses between sentences.
Loving interactions continued with her family. Though they were
experiencing feelings of grief, they also felt extremely
grateful every time Diane spoke or physically touched them. The
additional days she had with them in such an aware state was a
priceless gift to the family.
I spent the night before Diane's passing with her - she was very
peaceful. Again the room was serene and a strong Spiritual
Energy was always present. The absence of significant pain
during the entire dying process was remarkable. There was no
reoccurrence of infections, no skin breakdown, no malodorous
conditions up to and even after her passing. I have seen many
people pass away and it
is highly unusual to have no deterioration of the body of any
kind - no dry and cracked tongue, no sores, no odor and no skin
breakdown or wasting away.
Diane left her body on Mother's Day, May 11th, 2003. She passed
peacefully with immediate family present and a few close
friends. I witnessed her passing and her family was receptive to
leaving her body undisturbed for a period of 6 hours. The body
remained in the house until the following morning.
Upon my return on the morning of May 12th, I found both of
Diane's
parents to be smiling and appearing quite happy. The previous
evening, a full 4 1/2 hours after her passing, Diane's face,
which had been expressionless following her death, now expressed
a full smile! Entering the bedroom, I was amazed to see Diane's
smiling face. Her physical body looked beautiful and radiant.
There was much discussion and excitement about the smile and the
presence of Diane's dimple. Due to her right side being nearly
paralyzed for months, Diane had been physically unable to
express a smile on the right side of her face!
I have personally never witnessed a body appearing like this
following death. As stated, I am a Registered Nurse and have
been present at many deaths and performed post mortem care
frequently. In my experience, I have never witnessed a body
smiling after death. Muscle tone at the time of death is lost,
so that muscles are flaccid until the onset of rigor mortis when
there is a stiffening of musculature.
Seventeen hours after her passing, I was present to assist
mortuary
personnel in wrapping and removing the body from the house. As
we rolled Diane on to her side to wrap her in a sheet, I was
amazed to find her body still very warm to the touch! One would
normally expect the body to be cold and skin mottled or
discolored. This was definitely not the case, Diane's body
looked beautiful, as if she was still alive.
I later observed a small amount of blood expelled from her
nasal/oral cavities, which according to The Tibetan Book of the
Dead is considered a significant indicator of an auspicious
Spiritual passing. Diane's body was cremated, with a memorial
service May 15th,2003.
I have personally experienced many profound and miraculous
healings since being introduced to Pranic Healing. My life is
constantly enriched by my continued study and practice of the
techniques. What I have witnessed with this personal account of
Diane's healing and passing has shown me the unbelievable
opportunities and blessings for those nearing the time of death
and how they might benefit Spiritually through this amazing gift
of Pranic Healing.
